Cranberry Sauce
Ingredients:
- 1 bag (12 oz) fresh cranberries
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup water (or orange juice)
- Optional: zest of 1 orange
Preparation:
- In a medium saucepan, combine cranberries, sugar, and water (or orange juice).
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to simmer for about 10-15 minutes. Stir occasionally as cranberries pop open.
- Remove from heat and allow to cool. The sauce will thicken further as it cools.
- Serve chilled or at room temperature.
