                            Mashed Potatoes

Ingredients:

  • 2 lbs potatoes, peeled and cut into chunks
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup cream or milk
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: chives or crispy onions for garnish





Preparation:

  1. Boil the potatoes in salted water for 15-20 minutes, or until fork-tender.
  2. Drain and return potatoes to the pot.
  3. Mash with a potato masher or use a hand mixer for a smoother texture.
  4. Add butter, cream, salt, and pepper. Stir until creamy.
  5. Garnish with chives or crispy onions and serve warm.
